John and Karen would like to welcome you to Claigan Caravan on the beautiful Island of Skye, nestled in the remote North West lies the quiet and tranquil township of Claigan. With spectacular views of the Outer Isles and Macleod's Tables over Loch Dunvegan, Claigan is ideally situated as either a quiet retreat or as a base from which to see the rest of the Island. 

John is a local fisherman, he fishes for prawns, crabs, lobster and shrimp and is more than happy to supply on request, depending on the season.  Imagine sitting eating your prawn's watching the sunset over Loch Dunvegan, where the seafood was caught that day, from Claigan Caravan, what more could you want ! 

On the way down to the caravan there are 3 Lochs with all manner of bird life and trout, you can also fish off the local shoreline and catch yourselves a pollock or 2 if your lucky !  So why not pack a fishing rod and relax in this peaceful tranquil area, whether it's your first time at the rod or your an experienced fisherman there is nothing more satisfying than a fish on the end of your line.

There are forests near by which are full of wild life.  We often see deer near the 3 Lochs and even to this day it is a beautiful site to see.  We have also seen Sea eagles flying around which is amazing, if your lucky, so keep your eyes peeled you never know what you could see.

The caravan is available all year round from the 28th March 2010. Fully fitted for the ideal self-catering holiday, you only need bring yourselves!

We welcome dogs and there is no extra charge.  We also have a male dog called Dude who is extremley friendly and if he knocks on your door to welcome you then please try not to let him in as you may have a very good friend that will find it hard too leave !

A short walk away lies the Coral Beach, where at low tide you can see the coral reef stretching out into Loch Dunvegan.  We also have a large croft which reaches the shore line that you are more than welcome to walk on.
